Interview with Gail Carriger author of New York Times Bestseller in Mass Market Paperback for Changeless #20 (April 18,2010).

Ms. Carriger began writing in order to cope with being raised in obscurity by an ex-patriot
Brit and an incurable curmudgeon. She escaped small town life and inadvertently acquired
several degrees in Higher Learning. Ms. Carriger then traveled the historic cities of Europe,
subsisting entirely on biscuits secreted in her handbag. She now resides in the Colonies,
surrounded by a harem of Armenian lovers, where she insists on tea imported directly from
London and cats that pee into toilets. She is fond of teeny tiny hats and tropical fruit. (Provide by Ms. Carriger's website http://www.gailcarriger.com/).

Soulless and Changeless are available for purchase for $7.99 and Ms. Carriger's 3rd book in The Parasol Protectorate Series entitled Blameless will be available in September 2010.

Interview with O.M. Grey author of Avalon Revisited

About O.M. Grey (courtesy of O.M.'s website): O. M. Grey is rather camera shy and is a complete novice when it comes to modern technology. She prefers to live in the cobwebbed corners of her dark mind writing paranormal romance with a Steampunk twist. When she’s not writing, she’s reading or tending the garden or drinking a hot cup of tea. Just two drops, please.

About Avalon Revisited (from back cover of the book): Arthur has made his existence as a vampire bearable for over three hundred years by immersing himself in blood and debauchery. Aboard an airship gala, he meets Avalon, an aspiring vampire slayer who sparks fire into Arthur's shriveled heart. Together they try to solve the mystery of several horrendous murders. Cultures clash and pressures rise in this sexy Steampunk Romance.

Autographed copies of Avalon Revisited are available for purchase at Old Towne Book & Tea for $10.99 or from anywhere books are sold.

Visit O.M.'s website http://omgrey.wordpress.com/ for more information about special offers, prizes, etc.

Author Sylvia Shults Interview

From ghoulies and ghosties, and long-leggedy beasties, and things that go bump in the night, the Good Lord deliver us.” There are all kinds of shivery bumps in the night to be found along the Illinois River. The river has seen centuries of history come and go, and has witnessed its share of mystery and dark deeds. Sylvia Shults is your guide on a trip down the longest river in Illinois. Come and meet the Ghosts of the Illinois River.

Sylvia Shults has worked as a librarian, Bookmobile driver, flower seller, dancer, and art model. Her hobbies include wild food foraging, baking, making wines and cordials, and gardening. She is hopelessly addicted to classical music and reading. She is the author of several books, two of which were recent National Best Books Finalists (The Dreamwatcher and Timeless Embrace.) She writes both horror and romance, and is the first to admit that the line separating the two can be very fine indeed. She firmly believes that there is no such thing as too many projects, and is currently at work on her next novel. She lives in Illinois, practically right on the Illinois River, with her husband, two furry German shepherd daughters, two rotten cats, and far too many books.

Sylvia Shults can be reached at pompeii100@yahoo.com

Please visit her website, www.sylviashults.com, for more information about her writings.

“In a real hive, the male bees, or drones, pretty much do nothing.” Humorist Brian O’Mara Croft gives the readers a self-deprecating and laughably unfiltered view into the daily mishaps of a man who wants to rule his suburban family but settles for taking out the trash and watching his weight like we all do. In his first book of essays, Croft exposes the basic humor as well as sweeter meaning within the life of a husband and father. (From Publishing Works website www.publishingworks.com)

A regular author/narrator on Great Britain’s StarShipSofa.com, Lawrence Santoro began writing darkly fantastic tales at age five.

As associate producer of the syndicated television series, “Hyde & Seeke,” he wrote, directed and supervised production during the comedy/mystery series’ first season.

In 2001 the Horror Writers Association nominated Larry’s novella “God Screamed and Screamed, Then I Ate Him” for a Bram Stoker Award. In 2002, his audio adaptation and production of Gene Wolfe’s “The Tree Is My Hat,” gave him a second Stoker nod.

His Stoker-recommended short story “Catching” received Honorable Mention in Ellen Datlow’s 17th Annual “Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror” anthology in 2003. In 2004, his “So Many Tiny Mouths” was cited in the anthology’s 18th edition. In the 20th, his novella, “At Angels Sixteen,” from the anthology A DARK AND DEADLY VALLEY was similarly honored.

Annihilation Press published Larry’s first novel, “Just North of Nowhere,” in 2007.

Larry's short novel, “Lord Dickens’s Declaration,” was released audio version by StarShipSofa.com.

Larry lives in Chicago and is working on a new novel, “The Bright Dreams of Children.”
